Ambassador
ALEX WYNANDS
Alex is 25 years old and the daughter of Dawn and John Wynands. She is a graduate of University of Guelph, focusing on the CHATs program. She currently works at Agtrek as a Sales and Dairy Nutritionist. She is very focused on her small hobby farm which consist of her pot belly pig named roscoe and seven chickens. She is a 4-H leader for the Grenville Crop Club, the Bad Weeds, while still finding time to help out at her parent’s dairy farm. When she’s not working or volunteering she’s crocheting really fun blankets for her nieces and nephews. Her current goals are to work as a nutritionist until she can own her own farm. If becoming this year’s Spencerville Fair Ambassador, she would take the opportunity to be in the community, meeting new and old faces but continuing to educate and encourage more people to join and be involved with Agriculture.
Junior Ambassador
JULIA CADIEUX
Julia is 14 years old and is the daughter of Stephanie Crawford. She is currently in grade 10 and attends St. Mary High School. She loves music, visual and theatrical arts which she is aspiring to have a future career in. She has volunteered with the theatre camp, helping children learn and understand theater. Within the community she has volunteered for the Art ramble here in Spencerville, doing a dance-a-thon with children. She also helped choreograph the dancing in South Grenville’s production of Shrek and she has been involved in many Shakespeare and other community plays. Additionally, she is involved with two youth groups, The Brockville Baptist and the Spencerville United youth group. She would love to be the Spencerville Fair’s Junior Ambassador because she enjoys being involved with the community as well as public speaking and this position would be a great learning opportunity for her to help expand on these skills. Thus, providing her chance to meet new people and be a part of the community she loves.
