SCHOOL EXHIBITS
COORDINATOR:
Sheila Farrell
Rules & Regulations
Competition is open to all school pupils, from Junior Kindergarten to Grade 8, who have taken classes during the school year 2024 - 2025. Each pupil will be considered in the grade they are in as of June 1, 2025.
No pupil will submit more than one article per section number.
It is the responsibility of the teacher to see that all artwork is the original work done by one pupil, except in the Team Work Sections (must be two or more pupils).
Articles must be the work and property of the exhibitor. Articles exhibited in previous years will not be eligible.
Due to limited space, your school may enter only 5 entries per “Section Number” per grade, and a total of 3 group entries per grade, for Team Work Sections.
Requests for entry tags may be forwarded to Sheila Farrell, Chairperson, 613-658-3333, info@spencervillefair.ca
Entry tags will be filled in by the teacher/school clearly stating the Section#, Grade, listed exhibit description, Student’s first name and initial of or full last name, and the Name of School. Names including initial of or full last name are required for total point tally for personal and school recognition. NOTE: All tags are open for public display at Fair time.
If a class is a split grade, only write on the tag the grade the student is in. If the tag is submitted with more than one grade, the artwork is judged in the higher grade. Example JK/SK on the tag, the artwork will be judged in the SK group.
PLEASE do not use grains, seeds, model kits, and balloons or plaster sine, as we will not be held responsible for items lost or damaged.
No entry fee will be charged. Ribbons are awarded to the top 6 winners in each section by grade. Prize money will be awarded for the top 3 winners in each section by grade. The total winnings will be sent as one payment to each individual school after the Fair.
Due to limited space, we reserve the right to display only the award winners.
SPECIAL RECOGNITION: The person, grade and schools with the highest accumulated points will receive special mention posted at the fair.
All exhibits must be delivered to the DRUMMOND BUILDING, 22 Ryan St, SPENCERVILLE, on Friday June 27, 2025, between 2:00 pm and 4:30 pm unless otherwise arranged. If you must deliver schoolwork before or after this date, please contact Sheila Farrell or Spencerville Fair Office 613-658-3333, info@spencervillefair.ca.
